I’m very confused as to where this is going.
This is the first volume that takes place after the show. It's not a bad volume by any means. We begin a new arc, and a interesting one at that. I do love the idea of having "Fake" deadman and giving our deadman a reason to join forces. The two huge negatives for me are the ending, which felt so similar to another one in a different volume. This can easily be changed in future volumes tho. Also, not enough emotional fallout from Volume 5.
Overall still entertaining, fast paced, and fun. So check it out if you haven't yet!

The writing for Ganta Igarashi is honestly so non-sensical and completely irrational in this volume. He is consistantly making all the wrong moves in a way so unrealistic, that it feels like the writer purposely dumbed him down to artificially up the drama. Except it doesn't work, because the kind character we have grown to love has suddenly turned into a fucking idiot, and we're supposed to feel sorry for him, even when he's being a literal, irredeemable trash fire.

A very dark and dreary manga that takes on a whole new meaning to action. Deadman Wonderland raises the bar for dystopian manga in my opinion and I like it! Some scenes made my stomach roll (which is difficult to do) so this isn't for the faint of heart and really not recommended for those under 16. Otherwise definitely read it if you think you can stomach the blood and limbs flying everywhere. But I definitely dive into this kickass story. You will be rooting for every character as they fight for their lives!

Getting used to the new path.... for those of you wondering, this is where the story deviates from the anime.
Hmmm.... en mi mente recordaba esta historia con un mejor ritmo y plot twists que se hacían desear. En esta relectura siento que todo pasa demasiado rápido y que si bien hay un hilo conector entre todo lo que pasa no me resultó emocionante para nada.
No tengo idea a donde está yendo la historia y recién voy por el tomo seis. ¿Tengo ganas de dejarlo? Si! ¿Voy a dejarlo? No. Quiero seguir y ver si la historia en algún punto se pone al nivel de lo que recuerdo.
Lo único bueno que puedo decir hasta ahora es que no creí estar en este tomo, pensé que iba por el 3 así que podríamos decir que cada capítulo se lee rápido y vamos avanzando sin darnos cuenta.
No pienso rendirme con este manga porque me cuesta creer no estar disfrutándolo. Ojalá en los próximos volúmenes mejore...

Bruh, I hate Ganta so much. His relationship with Shiro is so inconsistent it gives me whiplash. I demand justice for Senji, my favorite character. He’s the only one with a solid personality that isn’t annoying or made for fan servicing. Azima and Shiro are incredible, but I’m so tired of the way they’re portrayed. All the girls in this series deserves more.
The first half of the volume was hilarious! We meet Toto which is kinda crazily cute.. There was some funny moments, sweet friendship between Ganta and Shiro. .but then..
Onto the next part everything went down.. Newly made deadmen fighted Ganta's squad...Ganta did something which made a huge destruction and killed many of deadmen. . While everyone picked on him, Shiro came to help him but when he heard that Shiro is also a deadman he said her that he hate her. God! Ganta, you better have a reason for this stupidity or I'm gonna kill you!
PS: so Ganta couldn't escape the prison with Scar Chain team?
