Leuk om eens een boek te lezen over een stel in een huwelijk die de liefde voor elkaar opnieuw hopen te vinden. In plaats van een romance voor het huwelijk. Het pad dat het stel loopt is wel erg kerkelijk geïnspireerd: doorloop samen de huwelijksgeloften en bid tot God. An sich lijkt me dat niet heel erg behulpzaam voor veel koppels. Maar de schrijfster weet deze aanpak tot leven te brengen en op een geloofwaardige, eigenlijk onbewuste manier, doorloopt het paar alle stappen. Lee Sutton was de juiste persoon om een goede dosis spanning aan het verhaal toe te voegen.
I was reading through my kindle. This story of a married couple with marriage issues lent itself to a a little more appearance and sensual focus than I liked. I liked that the author was bringing about that even in good marriages where people love one another, if they are not there for one another and listening, the marriage can fail without them wanting it to.
If you are looking for a book with talk of pretty much everything that goes on in a marriage, both when it is failing and then when they are healing with a bit of a sensual focus, look to this one.

Loved the romance of an already married couple, who’ve drifted away from each other once they’re empty nesters, and learn to find each other and fight for each other again. Super relatable and loved both Mia and Bode and how real they were.

I love that their family surrounded them and supported them with love and encouragement. This book is amazing.
