He writes just like he talks on his show, which makes the book funny, & may be my favorite thing about the book (I especially love the, "Call me!"s). The stories are superficial, but he's had a great career & seen a lot of interesting things. Loved the Bravo parts - just takes a while to get there.

I started to read his book called The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up, but I stopped because I wanted to start at the beginning of his life, not at the birth of his kids!
I also didn’t know a whole lot about him, so I was eager to learn. I enjoyed reading about how he got started in television (he started as an Intern at CBS Television at the Morning Show), when he came out of the closet, and a lot of behind-the-scenes stories from some of the shows he worked on while at the Bravo network. I didn’t really care for all the stuff on the Real Housewives.

It was interesting as a long time Bravo fan to understand Andy's own story, and love of Soap Opera’s that ties it all together. I wasn’t aware he had such an experienced tv background. It was a very enjoyable read.

Andy Cohen knows how to tell a story. The man behind The Real Housewives turns the attention to himself. Of course there are gossipy parts, but this book is not a behind the scenes tell-all. Cohen tells his story in such a manner that the reader feels as if they are reading an email from a friend. This book would make a great beach read. One doesn't have to be a fan of Real Housewives or Bravolebrities to enjoy this entertaining life journey.

I could not put this book down. It was so much freaking fun and I loved every second of it. Andy writes like he talks, in a way that makes you feel like you're old friends gossiping. I loved Andy's stories about his pre-Bravo days and his stories from the Housewives reunion. I couldn't put this book down but was devastated when it was over, I want more gossip damnit!

If you're a fan of Andy Cohen even in the slightest, this is a must read! This book is funny, honest and everything I was hoping for out of an Andy Cohen biography. You truly don't need to watch Bravo shows or the Housewives franchise to enjoy the read.
There were a few times I found myself lacking interest, but overall this was a great memoir. It was so great and interesting to read about how Andy got to where he is now. He worked hard, knew his worth and never stopped trying to be better.
I love Andy, and I loved this read!

I don't watch "the Real Housewives" or much reality tv in general, but think Andy Cohen is brilliant so thought I would check it out. Good bio, funny writing, but I would have enjoyed more if I was a fan of the shows.

Andy is fun and gossipy. I wasn't up on all of the people he talked about but it was an excellent brain scrub after a few heavy books.
