BookTok told me this was a Heartstopper readalike, and while a jock does realize he's not completely straight after becoming friends with a depressed boy... ehhhh?
This book stressed me out, and the ending is not neat enough, and it's not clear the two of them are even in the rest of the series. Is this "series that's in the same universe but not going to use the same characters" a new thing or am I only picking up on it now?

I love The Bright Sessions podcast, and the love story between Caleb and Adam has always been my favorite. Iām so so happy Lauren decided to write an entire novel about them! I giggled out loud and felt my own heart flutters while reading.
