It was awesome! I couldn't put it down. I feel like Sookie sometimes though. I also want to know more about this fae world, especially now that we have an elf. I need to know more!

I love the Sookie books. They have a special rereadabilty that a lot of other books don't.

I enjoyed this book immensely but I felt part of it wrapped up too neatly. I wanted more from it and I guess I'll be lucky if that happens in the next book.

I can keep reading these books one after the other and expecting more from them. It seems Harris isn't wrapping up Sookie soon. There are plenty of things still getting around and answers for long held questions.

It's never too soon for another and they're always over too fast.

I liked it and once again, couldn't predict anything. I can see where Ms. Harris is moving Sookie's love life to and I'm not sure I'm happy about it. But in the end, it was very much the world i like so well. It was incredibly, so very bloody.

Better than the last book by far. As in all the books, Sookie is trying to defend herself from the people who want to kill her. Her relationship with Eric is still about as dysfunctional, and unhealthy as they come. Victor the Regent of Louisiana, appointed by Felipe, is a real ____. Pam has a sweetie Miriam, who is dying and she wants to change her over. Victor refuses to allow it, and he also opens two competing bars, a rival of Merlottes, and Fangtasia. Most of the fae questions did get answered, but I still find some of it confusing. Sam is dating the pack enforcer Jannalynn, and she is brutal, but perfect for her job because she enjoys it. Not sure where Sookie, and Eric stand at the end of the book. His maker matched him up before he died, and according to Vamp law, he has to marry the Queen of Oklahoma, and ditch Sookie. Of course, Bill would love to pick up the pieces if this happened. Didn't see much from the were community, either the wolves in Alcides pack or the were-panthers. Miriam died before the group could plan, and execute the plot to kill Victor. We are still left hanging when it comes to the repercussions of assassinating Victor.

I tried listening to this on Audio like all the others in the series and have found myself bored after only 2 discs (there are 9 in total). Yes I may still try to read it again when the next book is released but at this point in time I'm giving up on Sookie.

Honestly, I have almost nothing to say about this book, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad.

And to my utter shock, I do wish Sookie and Bill would just get back together.

Also, I love Terry.
