In this anthology I read Tiana Laveen’s Addicted in Cold Blood. I found this story fascinating although I didn’t understand the need to eradicate the pawns especially when he didn’t cut off the head of the snake which fed the problem to begin with.

Xzion soon found is own addiction named Jayme. He was attracted to her from the beginning and she fought her attraction to him until she no longer could. But with all good stories evil is lurking around the corner...and vengeance in is sweet Xzion and Jayme found the cure his people so desperately needed and she was able to make those that used her pay.

The father was too much for me!
