Poor Olivia is trying to get away from her life in California. Casey is everything. I would love to listen to her talk all day...just to hear that southern accent. Natasha throws a little mystery in Southern Comfort like no other. It's the perfect amount. But, don't get me wrong you will get your sass and sexiness!

Natasha has blown this one out of the park. I was thrown for a loop with this book, and I'm most definitely okay with it. Natasha will be pull you in with every word. I cried, you may also. You realize that Olivia is who you want to be when you grow up.

“I’m dying of boredom.”

After Southern Chance, is this what we're getting? Seriously?
Jacob and Kallie took us on a heartwarming, emotional rollercoaster ride but I'm clearly missing something since 96% of the readers loved this. This was boring af.

Olivia is either crying or wallowing in self-pity or flaunting her branded clothes. It's always one of those three moods. I empathise with her, I really do. Having a life not worth remembering is bad enough but having your past ruining the present is all the more worse. Yet highlighting the same thing over and over throughout the book made Olivia seem weaker than what she was capable of.

Casey's "secret" was nothing exciting and did nothing to save this book in my eyes. It almost felt like all the good deets were used up in Southern Chance leaving nothing but leftovers for this one. Romance here was nothing worth remembering. Hopefully the next one redeems itself since I really, really like the idea of this series.

More than a cowboy

Casey Barnes is all that and a bag of chips according to the local ladies eager to snag his attention. Olivia is a former model and his sister’s best friend who has people coming after her because of her crime-connected ex-fiancé.

Casey is super protective of Olivia and he is falling for her more everyday even though he has always said he was never going to get married. Olivia is head over heals for ‘Cowboy’, but she doesn’t think he wants her to stay.

Strong attraction, past hurts and sinister criminals stalking her keep these two on their toes as they find themselves falling in love.

Suspenseful moments, romantic and steamy, close knit family and so much more.

I was excited for Olivia and Casey after all the little morsels of the 2 of them throughout Southern Comfort and I was most certainly not disappointed.

Olivia had so much going on and the more she opened up the more my heart broke. I'm thankful for the friendship she found with Kallie and that she became a part of the family. Casey was even more protective of Olivia in this book and I loved it. He and Olivia were the perfect mix of feels and swoon.

I'm really looking forward to what's to come in this series

Quick Summary: A secret security protector romance

My Review: Southern Comfort by Natasha Madison is book installment two in The Southern series. It features the story of Olivia and Casey.

About the Book: Olivia had been used and manipulated her entire life. She was never valued for herself and she never knew what it felt like to belong to a loving family. When she and her best friend were threatened, they decided to go to Kallie's home. While there, she was welcomed and loved up on by everyone of Kallie's family members... especially Casey. From jump, he stepped in as her personal security detail. What will happen when they both decide to let down their guard and let their hearts lead them?

My Final Say: This was heavy. I loved it!
