Okay, as much as I loved the conclusion to the Nohebi vs. Nekoma game and the measurement chapter afterwards, the sports festival bonus story was so FUCKING FUNNY I nearly died. Easily one of the best sports festival stories I've read in manga, the volleyball club is filled with absolute nutjobs and I love every single one of them.
Going back to the Nohebi v. Nekoma game, there were two things I really appreciated about it: 1. Lev finally understanding what teamwork entails and immediately acting on it (love me some character growth!) and 2. Kuroo standing up to Nohebi after people smack talk the team for being cheaters. What I particularly like about this scene is that Kuroo acknowledges and recognizes that Nohebi is a good team, which they absolutely are. Yes, they used some less than savory tactics to ensure victory, but that doesn't take away from the fact that they are, at their core, a really solid team. Do I agree with their methods? No, but I also don't think they're a terrible team objectively because of said tactics. I adore how unbelievably supportive and positive this series is, it makes my heart swell with joy.
That's all I've got, moving on to volume 24!
