Reciprocity. Community. Awareness.

This book is a wonderful and powerfully warm slap to the face for those who have forgotten where we are - on a land that offers so much life. It's above all a call to rethink the battle for sustainability in every way, but not via tech ology, but in how humans currently operate in this world. It's part ethnographic dive, part biological insight and part cultural critique. A beautiful way to remind us how lear ing from cultures that are of this land can help us learn how to keep this earth going and build a stronger community in your daily life. Plus, you come out with some.dope.knowledge of nature you thought you'd never hold!

Frankly, I found her cavalier and self-satisfied treatment of suicidal ideation deeply offensive.
