Have never read Natasha and Bucky's full backstory and feel like my appreciation of this issue suffers because of it. That said, god damn, Samnee does action well. Just beautiful images. Also the COLORS, I can't. Wilson deserved that Eisner.

10 Reactions I Had to Black Widow #9

1. The cover is utterly beautiful, but is there a reason Natasha is pulling Bucky's strings? Could this be symbolic of their relationship?

2.
They did not fucking kill Iosef, how dare they, I was emotionally invested in him. Natasha, get that bitch! She killed Iosef!

3. BUCKY BARNES IS BACK AND MORE IN LOVE WITH NATASHA ROMANOFF THAN EVER!

4. Recluse genuinely believes she's going to be the only one to walk away from this room? Oh honey, haven't you learned anything?

5. Amazing fight scenes as per usual, Mark and Chris. Good job!

6. Natasha/Bucky banter is my lifeblood. "High?" "Low." "Just like the old days." "If you say so."

7.
Bucky has been keeping tabs on Natasha all this time, making sure she was safe? Be still my beating heart, I can't deal with the feels.

8. My aesthetic? Bucky Barnes standing on a cliff, sunrise in the background, looking menacing yet handsome.

9. Is there a reason that the Weeping Lion's cousin does not talk at all? Is that ever explained?

10.
The Weeping Lion has plans brewing, and they will not be good for Natasha.
