There is an entire chapter about poop so if you’re easily grossed out, or can be embarrassed oh the behalf of others maybe skip that one.
The last chapter was also medicslly graphic. Think, multiple doctors, one who checked webMD because it wasn’t their area of expertise, samples taken from Colin’s leg going to the CDC for testing, and talk of an unpleasant best case scenario vs much much worse worst case scenario. It’s still funny! But so gross.
And this was after I laughed my face off listening to the poop chapter.

Y’all, I laughed so hard and so much. This is absolutely perfect to listen to on audio, highly recommend (and pro tip, you can always check out the ebook from your library to see all the photos he references 😂).
I am so sad this is over! I need more comedic memoirs in my life.

The beginning of this book used "retard(ed)" quite a few times and I almost DNFed, but I am glad I did not. The chapter about 9/11 and Jost's mom were incredibly emotional as he spoke about how his mother was impacted by the terrorist attacks. I read this book at the recommendation of a few friends, but had no idea who Colin Jost was as I do not watch SNL. I enjoyed hearing about his life, especially as he narrates the audiobook.
