What a fun little read! This wasn’t my favorite discworld novel but Terry Pratchett never disappoints. I loved all of the real life “music with rocks in” references throughout.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH I HUGGED IT!
I was particularly excited to get to another DEATH book, and when I realized he wasn't really a main part of this book I thought I would be disappointed, but I wasn't. I was having far too much fun finding and giggling at all the music based humor. "We're on a mission from Glod" I mean, come on a Blues Brothers reference?! I didn't think it could get better until.... Pratchett drops a Wayne's World reference. After that it was impossible for this book not to become an instant favorite for me.
While I know, as with all DW novels, there's some beautiful meaning and bigger picture stuff hidden amongst all the humor and puns and shenanigans I decided to just enjoy this read through at surface level. I really enjoyed meeting Susan and Quoth. I always adore time with the Grim Squeaker and the wizards. This book had me laughing out loud so much. This book was an absolute blast. Highly recommend! Now I'm off to reddit to see all the jokes I missed!
