I was expecting more from Sebastian’s book but it just didn’t give and stuck out like the other books. I felt like his character went downhill in this book after what we saw in the previous books. Yelena also just didn’t stick out to me. The pacing was just way too fast and I really don’t enjoy insta love stories.

Wow, Sophie went all out with this book. I was so saddened by some of the things that happened, I felt how crushing it must have been for the characters. Yelena was so strong despite suffering so much loss. My heart broke for her, and it broke for all of the Gallo’s. Also- the scene in the cellar, hot hot hot. I was hoping for more glimpses into their lives but I’m hoping we will get to see some of that in the kingmakers.

i’m sorry but they kept calling yelena a fighter etc and i just don’t see it
3.5 ⭐️’s. I was really looking forward to Sebastian’s book and this one didn’t quite meet the mark for me. It started off great but felt really rushed towards the end. I’m glad that Yelena and Seb had their happy ending and I’ll probably move on to read the Kingmakers series bc I’m now invested in these characters. Overall it was a good series!
Great book. The best of the series! HEA interrupted and what a story to follow! Sebastian comes into his own.
