Such a unique twist on a happy little werewolf book. Having the beta be the focus and desire was awesome. Hated silver and almost dnf early on because I couldn't stand her (and she's not redeemable) but onyx was worth it.
You would think that after just over coming massive miscommunication and manipulation that the pack would have handled it better when it happened a second time. But no they don’t even give her a chance to explain. And then not even enough grovel (in my opinion) happens.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I'm all about the omegaverse and this did not disappoint. You get clues about the characters in story from The Alpha's Arrangement although you don't immediately know that.
The book centers on a Beta named Onyx who is getting by as best she can and trying to protect her Omega twin (Silver). I have FEELINGS about that bitch.
Onyx befriends a male omega named Dylan, although she doesn't know his name or designation. She saved him by giving him food even though she barely had enough to feed herself. He never forgot her, her kindness or the fact that she saw him in a way that no one else had.
Meanwhile, Dylan's pack is desperate to get him back and Dylan isn't having it ... for reasons. Onyx ultimately gets a job working in a ritzy Silver Rocks Resort owned by the Treyfielf Pack. She brings her Omega twin with her to keep her safe and tries to fly under the radar. Lo and behold, whose pack is this? Dylan's. Chaos and shenanigans ensue immediately after this revelation. Onyx ultimatel strikes a bargain with Dylan's pack to help them win him back. More shenanigans occur and our Beta MIGHT be falling in love with the pack and Dylan is slowly starting to thaw towards his mates. Then Silver comes and f*cks everything up. To the surprise of absolutely no one. What DID surprise me was the manner in which she did it. Again, I have feelings.
The groveling was chef's kiss. Those boys had to earn Onyx's forgiveness and trust and I'm glad that it wasn't an immediate all is forgiven type of thing. Also, the spice was SPICING! The ending was beautiful and so deserved. There were also a few breadcrumbs about the next installment.

you know when you can tell the FMC has no sense? yeah that’s why stopped
additionally the writing is atrocious - fmc is high school dropout who needs money but constantly is jeopardizing her salary…
very choppy writing, a lot of telling not showing. none of the characters are likeable

Was enjoying this but she is going to go back to them after they dumped her to ‘show that’s she not a coward’ They have proof that it wasn’t her that did anything and yet they are not the ones grovelling and she’s expected to go to them. Nope. I don’t think so.
ITS A SKIP. DO NOT DO IT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE A STRONG FMC WHO WILL STAND UP FOR HERSELF.
