Outstanding

I loved the Broken World series so incredibly much, so another book from the amazing Kate L. Mary, set in the same world was a given bit of excitement. However, my excitement increased exponentially around 17% through the book, because hey- I know that guy! I know those people! Unexpectedly stumbling upon that part of the book filled me with joy; encountering those people was like greeting an old friend.
That says a lot about the quality of the author’s writing. I read hundreds of books a year, and despite that number, I readily remember the entirety of the Broken World series. Naturally, Far From Home is of the same great quality. I get lost in this world she has created, and fall in love with the characters. If you’re a zombie fan like me, you’ll love this. Even if you’re not, but you appreciate a very well written story, you’ll enjoy it. (Then go back and read the first series and become a truly dedicated fan!) I can’t wait for the next installment.

I love this Zombie Apocalypse world so hard! From beginning to end this new series set in the same world as the Broken World series had me hooked. The characters and their stories, the way they interact and how quickly thru bond to each other is awe inspiring. In a world where the dead come to life and nothing is certain, they don't crumble, they don't succumb, they don't surrender to despair, they keep fighting, they keep surviving and mist importantly, they stick together. Family is not just what your born into, it can become a group of survivors that can't imagine leaving a single person behind. Well maybe one.... A surprise encounter with some characters I adore made it impossible to forget and I cannot wait for the next installment! Well done again to the author on another five star read in her zombie infested world!

Really enjoyed this. I appreciate how this authors zombie universe starts with a deadly virus and eventually leads to zombies. You’re finding out the zombies exist right along with the characters. I can’t wait to read more of this story and I was extremely pleased to have some broken world characters thrown into this book. So pleased I just started a reread of Broken World!

I loved this story!

Devon, Rowan and Kiaya struggle to survive. This crew meet Angus and his crew. He gives them advice. Things will never be the same. I loved the diverse people they meet. I plan to read book 2 right away. I can't get enough. I'm obsessed with this author. I'm on a mission to read all of her work.
