Probably in the 3.5 star range.

Rhett and Link have a show on YouTube called Good Mythical Morning, as well as other podcasts and things. I have never watched anything of Rhett and Links. Really, I don't think I have even seen their Red House Furniture commercial, which went viral several years ago. My brother was a little obsessed with it for a while, so I don't know how I avoided it, but I'm pretty sure I did.

One of my sisters has recently started watching and listening to Rhett and Link and sought out the book when she heard about it. Of course, as with anything you enjoy, you want to share it with others, so she read me some snippets of the book. And it was hilarious, so I decided to give it a read myself.

There is something kind of magical about a friendship that has lasted 30+ years. Rhett and Link talk about their friendship in this book, highlighting some of the more ridiculous things they have done over the years, and give some surprising doses of wisdom along with the stories. It's always a good thing to be both entertained and inspired.

You would likely find this most interesting if you are a fan of GMM, but I don't think you necessarily have to be a big fan to enjoy it. And now that I have finished the book, maybe I will check out their show. Who knows.

Live mythically, friends.

I love these guys, their internet content is pretty great. I enjoyed this book, but the silly parts included for entertainment were only mildly amusing. The real draw is the parts where you can learn about Rhett and Link's lives, the history of their friendship and their business.

I can’t say my life is changed by this book, but I’m happy I bought it. It’s everything a YouTuber book has come to be: small chapters of almost advice, mostly storytelling, some boring, some good. I loved the chapter about their wives, and about their pets because it felt more genuine and I enjoyed reading them. Overall, if you’re not a mythical beast, I wouldn’t pick up this book.

I'm not sure I'm the target demographic for this book. I think the book and the YouTube channel might be geared toward high school and middle school kids. However, I found some parts amusing (though others overly silly) and I appreciate learning more about how these two great friends met and developed a successful internetainment empire.

Big fan of their Youtube channel. Listened to the audiobook also. It's a fun book. I don't know if listening to these two talk for 5 hours straight was starting to get to me but it wasn't as fun as I thought it'd be. I felt like I've heard most of these stories before. Probably just throughout the show and promotion of this book. Looking forward to Bleak Creek though.

This book is so fun to read. It’s interesting to hear about Rhett and Link’s life. There were times they had me laughing out loud. I love that Rhett and Link narrated their own story because it makes it feel more authentic. This is a book I will definitely reread again.

I realize I’m outside the target age group for this book, but read it for a reading challenge. The humor was a bit too sophomoric for my taste overall, but I did laugh out loud several times. I’ve never watched their show.

This book was really interesting and a fun read. My only problem with it was that it looked really dense (even though it actually reads quite quickly once you start), and that made me hesitant to pick it up every time I wanted to read it. This is my excuse for literally taking like two months to read it.
