Didn’t need to be 11 hours long.

This was that book that should have been a blog post. There's nothing new that hasn't been written about many times before. There are a few key points to the book but the narrative style of writing dragged this out so each point lasted pages and was repeated again and again. I understand learning is about repetition but this was repetition for the sake of lengthening this into a book (needless filler to reach a page rule set out by the publisher?).

Each chapter is yet another acronym with a diagram and a few catch phrases just to repeat what's been written before.

This book was a few bullet points of information (hence the blog post reference from me). I'm glad I borrowed this from the library instead of having bought it.

The last page is a link to his website to be put on his email list, then download the app........ Ironic from the pages of a book that tells you how bad electronics are for productivity and growth.

Quotes everywhere, core is masked by long fiction story. It could ended in 50 pages.

Self help book but in the form of a non-fiction story. But that story is just ODD.  Starts off with a person seriously contemplating suicide.  Then we transition to a scene where a self help guru is presenting to a large group and he has a medical incident and presumably dies onstage.  In the meantime, the audience members go on discussing their lives as if nothing is happening!

Gave up on this one about an hour in...

I don’t generally pick up self-help books to read. I prefer listening to them. And I did the same with The 5AM Club.

I thought the book would be about how one should go about their routines in life, etc. because mine is a little messed up right now. But surprisingly Robin Sharma knew exactly what will captivate readers like me who want self help books, but don’t want them too!
