This was pretty good. It did get old with Rizzoli complaining and pointing out all the men/women challenges. But the mystery was good. I saw the ending a mile away, but I loved how she solved it. Bam!

I just finished reading The Apprentice by Tess Gerritsen. In this book, the baddie from the last book, Warren Hoyt teams up with another killer while in prison. He makes his escape and they hunt Rizzoli together. It was a quick and suspenseful read and though Hoyt's influence should be gone in her life, I don't think it is based on the ending of the book.

Slow and anticlimactic, not nearly as exciting as other [a:Tess Gerritsen|18149|Tess Gerritsen|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1232921887p2/18149.jpg] books I've read. Still decent though.

I just finished "The Apprentice" by Tess Gerritsen. It stars Detective Jane Rizzoli, of the Boston P.D. She has captured serial killer, Warren Hoyt. Yet, a new crop of crimes that are similar in style to Hoyt's technique arise. This book is not for the faint of heart, as there are detailed descriptions of how the victims died. To add to the cast is FBI Agent Dean. What is his role? This is a fast paced novel.
It is a hard book to put down.

Well that did not go how I thought that would go.
