i can't take it anymore. i wrote this in the reading journal here around 14%.
the prose and diction is really excellent. but so far it's just this person saying "hohoho this is how i write my story" and how they won't be complicated and whatever but they're actually doing the opposite. i checked the next pages and pages to see if they would actually start telling us the story and they did. but not after a couple of pages. so. this is annoying.

the rest of the book is still the same. at least up until the part i read (28%). but i read the 2-star ratings and it seems like the rest of the book is just that. and it's not something i want to read, even if i know that i would still underline A LOT of it.
also it irked me so bad that the narrator was a man and he was saying all this shit about this girl?? like who tf are you?? i know that it's actually a woman (Lispector) who's writing, but it still just bugged me.
