Not my favorite of the Clarice Lispector books, but still finished in a day. I prefer her storytelling that dives deep into the mind, twisting and turning through the psyche, rather than stating a narrative, though it still did have the raw, primitive Lispector touch.

Pobre nosotros.

Not my cup of tea
Astonishingly weird and while a few gems stuck out to me from this work, I did not enjoy reading it. Her style has been praised as unique but it is perhaps just not for me. The story and the style both to me seem lazy and incomplete so if she is a genius, she isn't the kind of genius I can instantly recognize. Approach this one with caution, I'd say.
