Such a fantastic conclusion full of heart and ache
Picking up directly where Worship ends, Vance is in California to work Evermore’s mural and Luke is not happy about it. He longs for Vance so hard but doesn’t want to let himself have this. Through the fear and the pain, they have to determine what’s more important.
The two can’t stand to be away from each other and Luke gets more and more careless in his need to be near Vance. And as for Vance, he knows that staying in California will burn him ultimately but he can’t pull himself from the flames.
While Worship was a lot of them being apart, this book has the two men thrown together in very close quarters. They are both pushed from their comfort zones and I loved the character growth on both accounts.
The fear and the raw emotion was palpable in this book; the sex is off the charts; but the message in this book is so beautiful. I loved this book so hard and I am so thankful to have read it!

Struggled finishing this. I found the narration style odd. I don’t know what this style is, half sentences? And the long pointless scenes, like the hospital scenes. Am so confused.

One of the most intense m/m romances ever!
ELLA JAMES, Y’ALL. Holy... I’ve never felt so AMBUSHED by a duet before. This came out of nowhere and I’ve never fallen in love quite as hard before. Truly phenomenal.

Vance hasn’t seen Luke for a few years but now he’s on his way to do a Mural for his church . When they meet the chemistry is still there although Luke is still in denial . So much happening in Luke’s head he’s trying to come to terms with everything and just when he thinks he’s ready tragedy strikes .
