I absolutely adored this Christmas gift from Audible. I've only been a member for about seven months, so I didn't know about the whole Christmas gift tradition and so far I haven't heard many of the favourite narrators that were featured in this, but now I'm even more excited to listen to even more books, because all their voices were so pleasant and friendly to my ears.

What hit me when I listened to this was that yes, all these people who read the books I listen to are actual people. I've never thought about it before, but doing this is their job, and they do it wonderfully, and they are real people with their own stories to tell, which is what made me love it even more. They told about their own lives, their traditions, moments that had changed their lives... I loved it. It was really such a nice listen, and I'm now even more excited to explore more books, books I would maybe not be interested in normally, because I want to listen to all these voices again.

I don't know, how or why, but this made me feel closer to them and I loved hearing their stories, it was so nice to get to know more about them.

Wonderful Christmas gift, I truly enjoyed it.

It was very varying between different stories/narrators how enjoyable it was to listen to, as one might imagine. The second to last one was my absolute favorite. Thérèse Plummer's story about her father's rendition of 'A Christmas Carol' was absolutely magical to listen to, as you could hear the excitement and joy in her voice as she was telling her story. Bravo, Thérèse. Bravo.

Received this book free from audible. It's a collection of true short stories told by various narrators. I enjoyed most of the stories and added a few narrators to my must listen to list. Thanks audible for the holiday gift.

Listened for fun (Audible Free)
Overall Rating: 4.50
Narration Rating: 5.00

Quick Thoughts: It was great learning a bit more about the narrators behind the voices. Each were wonderfully told and very heartwarming. Totally a must for fans of audible narrators.

This audiobook made me both weep uncontrollably and laugh uproariously. I’m so glad Audible asked these narrators to share their holiday stories.

A cozy little collection with some bland little tales and some pieces of gold. A nice, quick listen to get in the holiday spirit. I liked that it included tales of both wonderful christmases and disastrous ones, quiet holidays as well as huge parties. I think everyone will recognize themselves in at least one of these stories.

This was such a lovely listen. It brought me back to my childhood Christmases in so many ways. And it mentioned Glogg! Twice!
