This was almost a three star book for me. It's not my usual romance type (light on smut lol), but I liked how the story unfolded for the most part.
What annoyed me about this book was how long winded some of the passages were. It needed a better editing job, both for typos and to trim some of the descriptions. We didn't need to know the exact recipe for Rubye's cakes, or every step Hattie used to cook dinner or sew something.
