I had high hopes for this book. It's okay. It tries to be balanced, but there are a few places where it seems biased in favor of atheism and makes religion, any religion, out to be ridiculous. Part of the problem, I'm sure, is the difficulty of presenting such complicated systems of beliefs simply. The oversimplification makes things sound absurd that become more reasonable with more explanation. So yes, this book is possibly worth a read with questioning children, but it's definitely a book that needs to be read one section at a time and discussed with a parent or another adult who can give further explanations.
