I adored this book! It was so readable, the plot really well paced, especially when the characters are so lovable and fun to follow. A truly heartwarming book following a young actress trying to right some wrongs, realizing along the way that maybe she wasn’t doing it for the right reasons, all while a cute guitarist/grocer who has befriended her famous actress grandmother tags along.

This was a fun rom-com that was pretty perfect for a summer day. It’s great to see a grandmother/granddaughter relationship in a central role. I also just found it adorable to see Milo interacting with the older ladies too.
Some of the situations were a bit predictable or unbelievable, but honestly, in a rom-com, sometimes that’s what feels comfortable and reassuring. That’s often why we grab rom-coms.
It’s a New York adventure with love and movie making drama so it’s definitely entertaining and will inspire smiles.
