The only reason I gave this four stars is because there was a similar twist at the end of this book as there was in the first of the series. The rest of the story was great - the plot, characters, development... I want to say that the ending was unnecessary but if it wasn't included then we wouldn't have met that specific character. But I just wish that it the generic synopsis had not been as similar as in Stormbreaker.

Just when you think you're out
The worst people you know
Eugenicist terrorism

I'm liking this series. Fun adventures.

An evil mastermind clones himself and replaces the sons of wealthy and influential families with his clones. That is the stuff of nightmares.

I'm enjoying the series more and more. The situation in which Alex found himself this time was more intense than the first one. The ending was a little unclear and "chiffy," which just made me want to read the next book right away. Luckily, I have the first four books of the series. Unfortunately, that means I still have to buy the next six after that.

The only reason I read this is because I read the first one and the only reason I read the first one was because they were gonna make a movie of it with Ewan McGregor in a small part. I don't need to read anymore. It was okay, but definitely YA fic for the YA set. However, the ending was interesting.

Not really feeling it. Thought I'd be more invested after liking the first book, but it feels stretched
