Well-aced and less tech heavy than the first book. An interesting take on mental health, AIDs and homophobia written right when it was a huge global issue. Another classic murder mystery.

A great crime novel that includes a lot of personal drama, which I love, plus the odd bit of humour. I really enjoyed her first book but in this book there were slightly too many parallels to the first. I expected something completely different and it wasn't that. The Mark story seems interesting and I quite like books in a series that can be read alone but also have continuing themes in them.
