Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy. Once while a school librarian, I was able to purchase several books from a distributor who was retiring. Two Phoebe and Unicorn books were included, and I was surprised by how they were constantly checked out; they were rarely on the shelf, as they would be rapidly checked out as soon as they were returned. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the humor and thought that went into the writing of this; there is some subtle humor that perhaps only adults would get, but there was also a good lesson for anyone. The illustrations are very vibrant and are fairly easy for students to follow.

Unfailingly adorable, as always. I don't like the full-book narratives as much as the usual collection of semi-connected comics, but they're still charming enough.

Another super-cute addiction to this series. This book is actually one long story vs just a bunch of comics together. I really liked the overall theme of friendship and jealousy and getting along.

And also Sue and Ringo. I’d totally read a whole book of their hijinks, together or separate.

3.5 stars. This story is one long arc instead of a collection of comics about a variety of topics (like in Unicorn of Many Hats which I enjoyed a lot). It's fairly serious in the scheme of things as Phoebe is jealous of the time Marigold is spending with her sister, and Marigold's sister shares some of why it has been important for the sisters to spend time together. While the story is good, is well told, and deals with things that kids can relate to, the difference in tone was a surprise for me. I think if readers know going in that this is a more serious story - and more of a "graphic novel" which tells one story instead of a comics collection - they will enjoy it. If they go in expecting the laughs that they have enjoyed in other books in this series (like I did), they might be disappointed.

I am addicted to this series, and, of course, Unicorn Theater does not disappoint.

Marigold's sister Florence comes for a visit, and Phoebe feels left out. Everyone ends up at a drama camp, and they work on a play to show all of the other people at camp..

I love that Ringo, Sue, Max and Voltina all make appearances. All of the characters are adorable, including the Nostril Sisters. Looking forward to reading more in this series.
