I’m a huge fan of CNC/primal play but I didn’t enjoy it here. I felt like it was missing the raw emotions, the truly immersive experience of being chased and the thrill that comes with it. It glanced over the scene, giving just enough for it to work but didn’t delve beyond that. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t really do CNC/primal play any justice.

Extremely fun dip into primal kink. The primary characters meet in a kink based dating app, set up a scene, and live it out. And maybe develops into a little more by the end of it.
Sex positive, excellent defining of boundaries and comforts, communication, aftercare, and numerous fun kind: primarily primal but also a dash of degradation, praise, bondage, and spanking for good measure.

This was quick and steamy and I loved it. Ivy and Connor introduce you to a very specific kink and it was deliciously done! The chemistry was great. Even though it was a short novella, I felt like the storyline and character building was perfect.
