Super cute, super sweet story about Julian and Constance shortly after they marry. Constance has created a theater in London and is writing plays. Julian is successful in his business and his lands are prospering.
They have temporarily relocated to Cheshire and Constance is trying to charm the local townsfolk with a Christmas pageant, food, festivities, and ice skating. Things go awry.
Also, there’s sort of a gift of the magi twist with the Christmas gifts the two love birds give each other.
Shrimpy cases havoc on the Christmas festival. But, the short story still ends very happily ever after. The two love birds are adorable with each other. Cute, but no steamy scenes.
