I felt this was very extroverted-oriented. This wasn't for me.

Loved this book. It really sparked something in me. Not everything was useful but most of it was.

It was obvious that the guys who wrote this book never worked as engineers, since they seem to think that all the tenets and behaviors that they ascribe to "designers" are also those of a good engineer. The advice and exercises are pretty run of the mill for this type of book.

Some helpful ideas and exercises on shaping your life to what you want it to be.
Good exercises to help you truly DESIGN the life you live.
I thought this was fantastic. I read this through the library, but I definitely plan on getting my own copy so that I can keep coming back to this. I would say though that I do agree with some other (more negative) reviews that the authors assume that you have the resources and options to change your life. Personally, I have a masters degree and I live in a big city, so this applies to my life really well, but it may not be applicable to a lot of people. But even so, I think it has a lot of tools that would be useful to most people to help you make strategic changes to your life to make it work better for you.
