Not as good as the first one (obviously), but still a great one. The first one was about story- and world building, creating lore and this one focuses in the characters more continuing the amazing work with the atmosphere

If sexism and pseudo-philosophical rambling is what you’re looking for in a book, this one is for you. It was better when the author didn’t remember women exist in the first book, now we know that according to him a 17 year old with no previous conditioning to view herself this way only cares about whether or not men, especially significantly older men, see her as a sexual object. Progressive.
My least favorite of the Metro series, but still another solid entry.
I really couldn't bring myself to enjoy Metro 2034 as much as I enjoyed the first book. The story and the characters just didn't quite catch my interest enough to care about them. The atmosphere of the life in Moscow's Metro is still very captivating and dense but everything else about this book just didn't keep up to Metro 2033s excellence. I really hope 2035 will be more interesting.

Tenía miedo de que fuera una decepción enorme.
No lo ha sido, pero tampoco ha sido tan bueno como el primero, quizá porque Artyom no estaba. Los personajes que conocíamos en Metro 2033 (Hunter, Melnik), han dado un gran cambio, tanto físico como mental, así que ha sido difícil conectar con ellos. Creo que con el que más he conectado ha sido con Homero, aunque no es el prototipo de héroe.
