The art is pretty good but the volume was too heavy on dialogue which made a little boring. I mean this is a comic after all so I think images should play a bigger role. Still it was fun.

I loved this manga + anime so much. It became my temporary obsession and I revisited it in times of stress for comfort, rewatching/reading my favorite scenes. This author is HILARIOUS and I love the tall girl/short boy dynamic. Koizumi's best friend is the absolute funniest in my opinion and the slow burn romance was so cute. Since they're in high school I can forgive them for being clumsy in a relationship and the giddiness I constantly felt outweighed any critiques I had. 10/10 this series will stay with me in my heart.

So, I've watched the anime and somehow managed to watch the live-action movie. (The things you can stumble upon on YT, seriously.) It was only a matter of time till I finally picked up the original manga... right?
Now that day has come (years later) and here I am having a hoot with my heart all a gigglin' in my fan-girling ways. This was just adorable, aDORKable even!

I'm trying to think of something else to say aside from the cuteness... THE ART! Right, the art was wonderful, although it did take me some getting use to. The character design is all about emoting and the backgrounds are full of detail. Sometimes this combination gave me a little to much to look at going panel to panel but this is hardly a complaint.
I also really found myself loving the alt. textured style of the single drawing page dividers. (Google me a Love*Com desktop background.)
I'm excited to see how the story progresses. Hopefully the next volume will keep the momentum that has so vividly charged this first book.

Le tengo mucho cariño a esta historia, fue uno de los primeros animes que vi subtitulados y fue porque una amiga de ese entonces me dio el cd, por allá por el 2013 más o menos jajajaj por Dios como pasa el tiempo xd y hoy al fin encontré el manga!! Obviamente tenia que empezarlo jajja
Y pues me encanta Risa, siempre me gustaron sus peinados jajaj
La historia se trata de una chica muy alta y un chico muy bajito, ambos con complejos por su estatura. Viven peleando y todos en la escuela los conocen por la pareja de comediantes de la clase 2, un día deciden cooperar porque a cada uno le gusta un chico/chica cercano al otro y desde aquí se empiezan a relacionar un poco más entre ellos y pues para que decir que los planes nunca resultan como uno quiere xd
