Wow. This manga was hilarious! I love the fact that the main character doesn't let the stupid guy treat her badly anymore after she finds out why he brought her with him to Tokyo. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves to laugh and loves some good ol' revenge. I can absolutely not wait to get the second volume!

I love this entire series so much, the art style is a little unique but I got used to it relatively quickly

This book was funny. Therefore, I liked it. I'm very very bad (usually) at picking out good mangas by myself to read, but this one happened to be very good. I'm starting to see that mangas are usually a lot better at creating a likeable main female character. This book especially proves that. So Skip Beat has officially earned my seal of approval. ~*(^_^)*~

I really enjoyed this book that I am 99% sure I'll probably spend £200 getting the rest of this series (which currently has 43 volumes) and other mangas that I really want. That's how much I enjoyed this book.

At first I was hesitant when I picked up this book. For some reason the summary on the back of the book scared me a bit. I was worried that it was going to be problematic or that I was not going to enjoy it. But I ended up reading the book in two goes, and the ending has made me really want to be able to binge read the rest of the series. I think the selling point of this manga is the fact that the story is not focused on love/romance, but Kyoko getting her revenge on Sho and I can't wait to see what will happen because I feel like the author is going to make it so they won't get together but Kyoko will get together with another guy and get her revenge by becoming the best star and dating his major rival.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book that I'm going to invest approximately £120 in getting the rest of the series so far. I feel like that is an indicator of how much I liked this manga. I can't wait to continue with this series!

two things i struggle with when it comes to goodreads
1. rating/reviewing manga
2. rating/reviewing a series when i read them in succession

that being said i thought the characters were fun and entertaining with a premise interesting enough that i plan on continuing this series.

I've read this entire series 4 times now, but it feels like cheating to list all 30+ volumes I binge read. Honestly the first chapter is probably the weakest volume and it just vastly improves as it goes.

This is my ULTIMATE comfort read. This romance is just my bread and butter
