I started this yesterday, and while I liked the first chapter, I was bit apprehensive overall, as Kyoko is very, very angry, and I was slightly unsure if the series would be able to continue under such force. With that being said, she's definitely a character that you can sympathize with, and I'd really like to see how she does in show business. I feel like that would be quite entertaining, particularly because she has such potential for emotional and professional growth. I really enjoyed the art in this book. It was hilarious, especially the vengeful spirits, lol. It could also be quite poignant, and I thought Nakamura was able to convey Kyoko's emotions (and those of other characters) really well. I definitely want to at least read volume 2 (which I have borrowed from the library) and see what happens next. While I'm not completely sold yet, I'm definitely interested (especially as the series is 43 volumes and counting!). 4 stars.

It's ridiculously funny. I kind of hope Kyoko remains crazy bitter. I plan in reading the rest of the series.

I love the crazy, quirky protagonist and all the show biz drama. The romance plot moves slow (as with all shojo :P), but you fall in love with the characters and really see them evolve. Addicting and I love it.

Maybe the other volumes are better but this one didn't interest me enough to read the next manga.
