RUBY, girl. My poor little black heart. Honestly, I didn't think this book would ever top Folie, but I am happily mistaken. I fell HARD for Teddy. His darkness, his kindness, and everything in between were so real and moving that I fell harder for Teddy than I did the twins. I KNOW. He's that perfect.
Now that my heart is a sack of meat on the ground, how do I even move on from this book?!

Certainly the most macabre reverse harem I’ve ever read, yet it was full of love & light amidst the darkness. Villainous heroes, indeed.

What do I say about this book? I was a fucking mess! I went on a rollercoaster of emotions - A FUCKING ROLLERCOASTER! I’m not going to say too much of the plot - because I need you to experience it how I did!
If you haven’t read Folie à Deux - you have to read it before reading The Game & if you haven’t - what are you waiting for?!
Back to this amazing book! Ruby you killed it! The way you write these characters & the feelings that you feel coming off the paper. I can feel what they feel. I have no words! It’s been 2 days and I am still thinking about it. Ruby, @ashhaestheticreads @smut.book.whore & a few more know what this book put me thru! Ya all got the voice notes, crying voice notes, the ugly crying videos, the sobbing!
I said it to Ruby & I’ve told a few others, this was Alice’s book! This was her journey, coming into her own, the woman she is meant to be, not someone the twins wanted her to be, not someone Teddy wanted her to be! Her journey there fuxking sucked. But she had Teddy. & Teddy, ugh he is someone who knew her better than she knew herself. He didn’t want to change her. He wanted her to blossom into who she always was.
I told Ruby, Teddy is someone I feel that I’ve had in my lifetime & I would hope you’ve had someone like that in your life or a version of him!
This book was so fuxking good! I cannot express enough how much I loved reading this book.
As always her spice was top tier! Seeing the relationships with the twins, Alice, Teddy grow into something more. Individually as well together. Even the side characters I enjoyed reading about them and seeing them grow.

*Be sure to read the prequel novella, Folie a Duex, to better understand the story*
You have good books out there, really good books that hit all the marks. And then you have books like this one, that leave an emotional imprint on your heart that will be with you forever. Alice, Jameson, Tristan, and Teddy's story will always have a special place in my heart. It's an emotional roller coaster that is worth every minute. Ruby's writing is truly brilliant!
This book is Alice's journey on figuring out who she is and her journey healing from her trauma. She really goes through a lot so check the trigger warnings. She breaks out of her cocoon to become a stunning, badass babochka

This shit is dark. Like realllly dark. Read the TWs carefully before you start.
And the smut? Judge it yourself:
“I’ll paint the inside of your cunt with my cum every fucking day I live, babochka”
