This was fine. Just fine. I'm not sure if Emily Henry books are for me. I don't really like the romantic elements and I didn't like the characters enough to be invested in their saga.

I love love love emily henry omg this book was more found family than anything and i absolutely ADORE IT. Found family just makes me want to cry all the time because what are the odds you find your people that you can work through any hardship with? The two protagonists were pretty different than all the other protagonists I've ever read and I really appreciate that! I love the progression of the plot and ugh emily henry always writes the best characters.

Miscommunication is just not my thing and the constant back and forth with the timeline kinda fucked me up because I'm constantly engrossed and then not and it was hard to get me to pay attention. However, the book did start to pick up a little bit more than half way through the book and I ate that up so quickly. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO HER NEXT BOOK AS ALWAYS.

Damn you, Emily Henry, for making me ugly cry so many times while reading this book. Maybe it’s because I was already in my feels for various reasons or because I’m just a hopeless romantic, but I loved it nonetheless!

I think I may have over hyped how unhappy this book was going to be. So the ending was okay. I was expecting this big tragedy but it ended similar to other romance books. But I loved the book. The character were well written and the story was told well. How I was expecting it to end made reading it a little stressful because if it ended like that the writing of the characters and story made me very upset. I’m glad it ended the way it did. And I fell in love with all the characters. I was very investing in all of their lives and stuff.
