This book is wonderful and nice - so many great stories about Giannis and especially some of the earlier years with the Bucks.
It also traces his journey on his willingness to speak up about racism in Greece and America in a really interesting way.
Some of the stories about Kidd’s bucks teams are.. whew. There better be a lot of people reconsidering their stance on Larry Sanders.
Book starts to get a little light in more recent years but that’s too be expected. Would love a part 2 in 10 years (:

Well researched and well written words about an awesome person, 5/5 would read again
Not the biggest Giannis fan ever but I respect all the hard work and hustle that the dude has done in order to be one of the game's current greats. The game is in great hands when LeBron and company retire because of dudes like Giannis. Giannis just gets 'it'. This book is of those compelling sports-related reads and can easily be liked by the fans of the game.

Well this was magnificent.
It will surprise literally no one that a book about @giannis_an34 was extremely my shit. But I cannot emphasize enough well written and good this was. Mirin Fader absolutely killed it.
I learned so much not only about Giannis but also his family. The book also did an excellent job of digging into what it meant for his family to be black immigrants in a country that never wanted them. The racism that has and continues to exist there.
Cannot recommend this one enough! And very very thankful that as a @bucks fan, @giannis_an34 is our guy

If you like Giannis, this book will make you like him more. I imagine the paperback will have an update now that the Bucks have won a title and I'll look forward to reading that as well.
