This book was slower than the previous book. Part 2 is were it started to get interesting for me. There was a lot of growth for Melin, we watch her struggle with accepting herself as she could be without power throughout the book. She also displays the internal war of addiction very well and how it changes you. It was well thought out, I just wish it were a faster pace.

I simply could not put this book down- it captivated me from start to finish, and I think I will find myself thinking about it for many years to come.
