Honestly this would have gotten 5 stars had the phrases “Claire said” “Delilah said” “Astrid said” etc not been used so many times it could be turned into a drinking game. There are so many other words you can use to state who is speaking or replying.
Outside of that, I knew this was going to be a good book from the start. The internal monologue in the first chapter had me cracking up and I was HOOKED.
The character building is well done, not dumping too much information at once without context. Lots of side character which allows you to feel as though you’re just a fly on the wall watching everything play out.

oh my god this book was so cute!!!! i loved every single sentence every single character every single WORD i devoured. i love these characters and their interactions, their communication was on point near the end i love how they all voiced everything they needed to say (and everything i wanted them to say). i love the talk of trauma, and recovering from that with the help from the people around you. i have no idea who voiced the audiobook but they deserve a raise fr, i’ve never enjoyed an audiobook so much!!!

I would say this is a fairly accurate depiction of a female gay love story with added storylines outside of the love story portion of the book. Parts of the book felt like gay pandering but I'm still rating it 5 stars so it worked on me lol

I've picked this book up a few times and put it down, but finally finished it. I had to stop listening to audiobook because it just dragged, so I don't know if it was fully the books fault or the audiobook, but I was frankly kind of bored through a lot of this book.
