-0.25 just because I feel the ending was a bit rushed, but the book was beautifully written. 
"I suppose I didn't want you to think I was damaged or something. I was probably afraid you wouldn't want me anymore" 
heartbreaking.

Rooney’s writing style is succinct but says so much with so little, however, there really could be more diverse characters in her books. I do not care how pale and pretty marianne is.

Its not bad book, but to be perfect she misses a bit. I very much like the character development. The topicks that this book talks about.  Marianne is amazing character very good making her job by showing how self esteem is important and also Connell (even when he is an asshole sometimes) its also amazing show how his problems make people behave in sorting way. Amazing book showing how two people with different background but similar problems can become comfortable for each other.
