Read this for down bad reasons I’m afraid (am seeing a chappie named after one of the old boys in Jeeves).

This was not my cup of tea, or style of humour I suppose. In my view these stories are about several main characters lying and deceiving others to get what they want. I have no desire to read any more books in this series and wish I had not given my time to this one.

This collection of funny little pieces totally hit the spot this week! Most of the stories are about the misadventures of Bertie Wooster and his all-knowing servant Jeeves. Quite fun.

I didn't mind the beginning 40% of the book. The writing started to bother me. Stuck in the slang of the period that the book took place in.

P.G. Wodehouse's collection of short stories most featuring Bertie and Jeeves (and a few with Reggie Pepper). As always, the stories are punctuated with cheerful delightful prose and the themes of societal shenanigans featuring ridiculous aristocrats, confounded Bertie, and efficient Jeeves.
