This was an interesting end to the series.  I liked how the repercussions of such a massive war had real effects for the characters.

I liked this book the most of the three I have read so far in this series since a lot happens. I am not a huge fan of what happens to one of the characters at the end but I can see why it happened. One of my favorite aspects is the "underdog" aspect of humans in the war with the elves. I am excited to see what happens in the next book.
