I picked this up at the Madison library, and Katie actually read it before me. I asked what it was about and she told me it was Toestomper learning how not to be a bully. THat works for me.

Toestomper is one angry critter...and he hangs around with other angry critters: The Rowdy Ruffians. They are mean and rude and disgusting. Then a bunch of caterpillars enter TS's life and everyone learns...

I love the dynamic character traits shown here...this book would be a quick way to illustrate that literary element in the classroom.

Illustrations are details and fun to study.
