A funny story with loveable characters. The romance part is really cute and Maverick 😍🤩. Nevertheless, it’s not a point in favour the fact that the most complicated part of the book was them not knowing how to tell te other “i love you”.
Also it touches a really serious topic that is women in sports. Knowing how difficult has been and it is for women to practice a sport professionally and be recognised as men are,  i don’t think it was the best to put her in a relationship with the captain. Although she demonstrated she’s there for her talent, I would have preferred a relationship with an external to the team.

Cuteeeeee. Love strong females!

Boring and predictable. No tension or build up. Spice was disjointed.

I honestly thought it would be so hard to beat Dallas and Maven as my favorite couple, but Chelsea has truly outdone herself – Mav and Emmy were everything! The progression of their relationship, including their honestly about their vulnerabilities, and their banter was absolute perfection. I so wish I could read this again for the first time!

Not bad, not great. I wish there was more drawn-out tension between the two in the beginning. Their connection kinda felt rushed and wasn't very compelling overall. The story dragged on longer than needed, and I found myself wanting it to end.
