I ate this book UP. Now I’m not usually one for omegaverse, sometimes it hits and sometimes it doesn’t hit. THIS ONE THOUGH, I devoured this. Wonderfully written and I’m always one for a fake relationship trope. I wish there were more books out there like this one!

This was my first shifter/omegaverse romance and it did not disappoint! I liked that it was a pretty light and fluffy storyline, and don’t get me started on the faking dating trope. I eat that shit UP.

Noah’s dirty talk is honestly some of my favorite ever. I highly recommend the audiobook as Joe Arden is just a masterpiece of a human (though I wasn’t a huge fan of the female narrator, oh well). I could listen to Joe Arden read the damn dictionary.

Overall a super cute, fun and different read for me. I took off a star because the actual conflict didn’t make a ton of sense to me as the “world” wasn’t explained in a ton of detail. Also I get picky when there are “legal” issues at play (I’m an attorney, I know I’m the worst, but I can’t look past inaccuracy/inconsistency).

I would definitely recommend if you’d like to dip your toes in shifter romance!

After reading Bride by Ali Hazelwood I wanted to explore the Alphaverse a bit further. Sadly, this is a true disappointment
