I LOVE the Shopaholic series - every book is laugh-out-loud funny. I didn't realize there was a new one out until the other day - so exciting! So I grabbed it from the library (no wait!), inhaled it in a day, and now I'm already impatient waiting for the next one. Yes - I am fairly certain there will be another. This book totally set it up for the next book!

Pretty amusing and entertaining. The writing is on par with the other Shopaholic books. For me personally, though, it's a little harder to find Becky's attitude as funny when she's dragging around a child who screams "MIIIIIINE!" at everything.

I've read the other books in this series so it only makes sense that I read the next one in the series. The Shopaholic has a baby and can't stop buying cute things for her. And, as usual she gets herself into all sorts of trouble. It was cute but her thinking pattern kind of exhausts me.

I really like these books. This one wasn't as great as the first few, but still enjoyable and fun. Can't wait for the next thing from Becky, probably in LA!

Okay, I need to get a few things off my chest before I dive into this review:
First off this book, Mini Shopaholic is a reread.
Second, I'm definitely rating it higher than I did the first time I read it.
And third, I freaking love Minnie.

What would you expect the child of Rebecca Brandon's to be like?! Oh, exactly like her. A little mini Rebecca. However, I just love the amount of sass this child gives off. Yeah, Minnie is a two year old but hell she knows what she wants and that's shopping and starbucks. If I could get a whole series about Minnie I would probably die and fall even more in love with her.

Other than Becky's crazy shenanigans, there's Luke who somehow never misses a beat when it comes to his wife and child. Hell he knew about his "secret surprise party" and still tried to mess a little of it up. I love how is he definitely more there in his relationship and less naive when it comes to other women in his life. Seriously the past couple of books kind of made me dislike the guy but he definitely gained some points back with this book.

Even though they both kept some secrets from each other, Mini Shopaholic doesn't disappoint. I was laughing my ass off since page one - especially reading the letters that Bex receives. I could totally see her writing those crazy ass letters too.

Again, I loved this book (obviously way more than I did last year) and I could totally see myself rereading this series later on in my life. But now I just want more Minnie in my life. Also more Elinor because she was definitely less of a bitch in this book.

I NEED MORE!

This was better than I expected. Thankfully it was less about the TERRIBLE Minnie (who will make you want to get your tubes tied straight away) and more about Becky planning a surprise party for Luke.

I liked how everyone came together for the party. My heart went out to Elinor. After three books, I think this is the first time I actually hope we see her again. She’s not completely terrible! Danny, however, is and I am so tired of his odious character. Becky’s Mom was a bit insufferable in this book and seemed a tad out of character. The way Janice treated Jess was awful as well. Suze is brilliant as usual and I really liked Bonnie (although Becky put her in so many unfair situations).

I will see this series til the end but I’m less keen to read about Becky in America. There’s something about the English setting that makes this more charming and fun.

Becky Brandon's newest adventure also features her two-year old daughter, who seems to have inherited some of her mother's traits and most prominently her love for shopping. As usual Becky gets herself into tense and absurd situations and how she gets out of them is simply hilarious. Her family has to live through the great financial crisis and through all of it Becky is resolved on giving a splendorous surprise party.

I liked this latest adventure of Becky. She has grown up since her first book, but can't help herself but to get into one fix after another, which is probably the reason why we love her so much. However, I'm sometimes missing the brilliant wit of the first book.

Cute. A nice addition to the Shopaholic series.
