If you're a big fan of Flashpoint or silver age comic tropes, or a casual fan of The Watchmen who would like to see it integrated into the DCU proper, then this is the book for you. It's a crossover that sets up [b:Doomsday Clock The Complete Collection|53787267|Doomsday Clock The Complete Collection|Geoff Johns|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1600744474l/53787267._SY75_.jpg|69079923] and revisits the characters and plot ideas from [b:Flashpoint|11501608|Flashpoint|Geoff Johns|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1507329660l/11501608._SY75_.jpg|16437195] while teasing the involvement of The Watchmen characters.
This multiple history (not universe, they are quick to point out) has Bruce Wayne getting to interact with Alternate History Thomas Wayne, and even has some appearances of Flash rogues and multiple Flashes.
For me, it falls apart with The Cosmic Treadmill. The Cosmic Treadmill is such a ridiculous silver age idea, that The Flash built a treadmill that allows him to travel through time, that it shouldn't be used non-ironically in the 21st century. And you especially shouldn't have human Batman somehow using the treadmill along super speedster The Flash while they travel through time. Bruce is DEFINITELY falling off of that thing right away. I don't care what kind of shape he is in, he's standing on a treadmill where a speedster is running.
There is other general silliness in this book, and I think it will appeal to a variety of readers. I'm just not one of them.

An intriguing start to what will inevitably be a very interesting crossover event with watchmen, something I have been eager to read and spurred me to finish watchmen first for context. I love the rebirth style of the DC hero's and this is definitely my favourite comic bat suit thus far. I do love seeing batman and flash work together as a pair of detectives, but of course the scale of this puts them both way out of their depth seemingly. Worth noting also that this is directly resulting in some way from flashpoint too, so if youre a fan of that as i am then this should make for an interesting continuation. Whatever happens next, I am hooked!

eh, the art was nice, but story wise, I expected something much more. The first issue, written by Tom King, was great, full of Watchmen homage and King's overall great writing and all that, so even with the thin and slow plot, at least it was great to read. However, in issue 2-4, with Williamson writing it, it lost all the finesse and subtlety from King's issue, and while there are some emotional moments, I feel like the plot was still thin and slow. Sure, there are some "revelations", but that made it seems like this comic was just relying on shock value, which didn't quite work for me, because most of those things we already know beforehand anyway. Overall, this felt like a prequel of Geoff Johns' Doomsday Clock (which I'm very excited about). And could've been so much better.

Well written, enjoyed the dialogue, doesn't resolve issues. Very confused on Reverse-Flash's timeline.

Since I even read this I felt too much hype about it, well, the hype keeps real after reading it.
Premise? After the rebirth, a button appeared at the Bat-cave, Batman and Flash were investigating about it, but there was no information. As it contains some radioactivity, it makes some kinda reaction with Psycho Pirate's mask, after this, Reverse Flash appears into the actual universe, so he may cause problems to the best detectives.
They want to know what happened, sp they go back to the Flashpoint, as they keep looking who's watching them...
