This book came just at the right time for me. For when things start to feel in a way, out of my hands. Like watching a child color out their lines.

This book made things usually unnoticed, be one of spectacular colors. It made a seem-to-be worthless life, full. It made me grasp and notice the sheer complexity or even a vague importance of an arbitrarily picked individual out of the billions of lives in this world we confide in.

Nothing is a waste. Absorb the present. Either you’ll reminisce, or feel it never mattered as much as you thought it did. To live until death.

A sad, depressing, and wholesome book. The main character has too much integrity to survive in this world. The writing is beautiful in its simplicity - it really feels like there isn’t a single superfluous word. It’s the story of an honorable, if not enviable life.
