It's a decent book. There's just a cliffhanger at the end, and I'm not a fan of cliffhangers, unless it's expected. If you end with the Happily Ever After, I'm satisfied.

This was a good suspenseful read. Unfortunately it didn't really have that true horror aspect for me. There were some things that should have been left a mystery until a little further in.
Otherwise I really liked it. It was quick. The characters weren't very detailed. And that was okay in this case.

This wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever read, but it also wasn’t good. This book is very mid. This wasn’t scary what so ever (not sure what the one comment calling it frightening was talking about), everything in the book was very predictable, immature and corny. I honestly cringed at every single conversation or “thought” that every single character had.

This book! Mind blown. Starts out crazy as heck and just gets worse. Crazy kids, affairs, nutty dogs, ghosts! Had us hooked while listening to this book. The details make the book! Amazingly horrific read! 😁

I absolutely LOVED this book. As a horror film fan I could absolutely see this translating onto the big screen. It gave me major The Conjuring x AHS: Murder House vibes.

This would be an amazing spooky season read and I wish I had found it sooner.
